Our Restaurant

We are a French-British Infused bistro restaurant & patisserie in the heart of Hove, offering modern interpretations on classic dishes. With a relaxed and sophisticated setting, we are the ideal spot for any kind of occasion. We offer the finest seasonal and local produce prepared and cooked by our passionate kitchen team led by highly experienced head Chef Jerome, with a friendly, welcoming service from our front of house. But, we are more than just a restaurant.


At the heart of what we do, we simply want you to feel at home here too.

Our Services.

We are open daily from 7am serving breakfast, brunch and an evening bistro menu offering a wide selection of fine wine and beer . Our deli counter and patisseries are always open for you to enjoy here with us, or as a take-away. Come and have a look at our daily savouries and sweet treats! 

We offer a corporate ordering service for all your special events and work do's


We also prepare whole chickens for our wonderful customers. To pre-order yours please contact us on a Friday and we will have it ready for you to collect on Sunday morning.

How it all started

Born with a dream of creating something unique and versatile

Owners (and friends) Jerome, Eric and Gerald opened Cas-Croute in 2023 with the aim of infusing the best of both French and British cuisine with a strong Sussex influence.

They wanted to create a modern eatery which offers much more than a typical restaurant.
In these modern and fast paced times, in the heart of a busy City, they realised people want quick, quality food on the go all throughout the day. So, a deli counter offering a wide range of seasonal and classic savouries, with a pre-ordering service as we all as a full table service restaurant serving breakfast & brunch was the missing piece of the city's puzzle!

In addition to this, Head Chef Jerome and our talented Patisserie Chef Gerald took it one step further by combining savoury 'traiteur' & Patisserie.
